Recently, another arduous contract has been successfully secured by Eilbeck Cranes to design, manufacture and deliver the special and unique design of hydraulic winches for Amrun Project through Bechtel Australia.

The contract comprises of five off various type Take up Maintenance Winches as follows:

• One off Crude Ore Conveyor - Static Hydraulic Take-up Winch M3 Class – 109kN line pull
• One off Bene Feed Conveyor - Static Hydraulic Take-up Winch M3 Class – 109kN line pull
• One off Oversize Conveyor - Static Hydraulic Take-up Winch M3 Class – 66.8kN line pull
• One off Product Conveyor - Static Hydraulic Take-up Winch M3 Class – 66.8kN line pull
• One off Stockpile Feed Conveyor - Static Hydraulic Take-up Winch M3 Class – 66.8kN line pull

The operating control of the winches has been designed through a portable hydraulic pack so that no permanent power supply is required on the take-up site. These winches have been successfully load-tested at our facility in Ingleburn, NSW.
